I can bring up Amplitube as a VST, or Soft Synth, and use them as standalone plugins, but it does not appear in the effects folder, when I add an audio track to my project.

I have IK Multimedia's Amplitube series of VST plugins. I run Sony Acid Pro 7 (as 32 bit) on Windows 7 64bit.
